Dr. Michael Ramar

Dr. Michael Ramar, a Rochester, Michigan native, received his Bachelors of Science degree in human biology from Michigan State University with honors in the Lyman Briggs College of Science. He went on to complete his Doctorate of Chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic Florida with a concentration in sports medicine, and corrective rehabilitation techniques. Dr. Mike strives to educate his patients on the relationship between functional movement, physical performance and an overall pain free life. He is committed to serving his community with compassionate, effective care so they can achieve their wellness and performance goals.

Dr. Mike not only restores function and quality of life following an injury, but also takes their function and fitness to an even higher level than before! He strives to make each treatment session build upon the previous visits achievements. When not in the office, Dr. Ramar enjoys going on walks with his goldendoodle Reggie, spending time with his wife and son and relaxing at home.

Dr. Kevin Worley

Dr. Kevin Worley grew up in Monroe, Michigan. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Biomedical Sciences from Grand Valley State University in 2016. From there he completed his Doctorate of Chiropractic from Logan University in St. Louis, Missouri, focusing on rehabilitation and working in an integrative setting. Dr. Kevin has clinical experience in the St. Louis VA system, as well as rehab-focused clinics. He is committed to educating patients on the causes of pain, the importance of a healthy lifestyle as well as treating with the best and most evidence-informed therapies available. The focus is simple: Movement is Medicine!

 

Dr. Kevin continues to pursue education on chronic pain, non-surgical approaches to back and neck pain, and an integrative approach to the individual’s healthcare. When he’s not in the office, Dr. Kevin spends his time finding trails to hike (Mt. Rainier being his favorite), spending time with his wife and dog at home, and staying active through playing soccer, volleyball, and softball.

Dr. Shane MacPhee graduated with his Bachelors from Grand Valley State University and then went on to receive his Doctor of Chiropractic degree at National University of Health Sciences. Dr. MacPhee likes to blend traditional chiropractic adjustments, with muscle work and exercise to get the best results.  He focuses on functional movement in order to help his patients live pain free and to help his patients reach their personal health goals. 

Dr. MacPhee has a particular interest in treating sports injuries, low back pain, and migraines. He utilizes many different techniques including, but not limited to: Chiropractic adjustments, active soft tissue release, therapeutic exercise, Rock-Tape (PMT certified), Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM), Flexion Distraction, and traction.

When he’s not treating patients, Dr. MacPhee enjoys spending time boating on Lake St. Clair, hiking and weightlifting. His toddler, dog and wife also keep him active!

Dr. Sarah Weiss

Dr. Sarah Weiss earned her Bachelors of Science degree in kinesiology with concentration on movement science from the University of Michigan and went on to receive her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Wayne State University.  Dr. Weiss is also a certified personal trainer and group fitness instructor.  She is an expert in the field of exercise and is passionate about spreading knowledge to her patients so they are able to find simple ways to incorporate movement into their daily activities.

Dr. Weiss takes a functional approach to physical therapy and incorporates exercise with education, manual therapy, and pain relief modalities to reach wellness goals and produce successful outcomes.  She treats others with respect, dignity, kindness, and compassion and goes the extra mile to ensure that her patients are able to move without pain even after they are discharged from PT.  When not in the office, Dr. Weiss enjoys travelling with her boyfriend, spending time in nature, and exercising including weight training, HIIT, Zumba, and yoga.

Magdalena has been professionally committed to the fitness industry for over 20 years. She began as a certified personal trainer and nutrition coach building programs for weight loss and related fitness goals. Later in her career, her focus shifted to working with those suffering from traumatic auto accident injuries both physical and mental. Needing a gentle but effective method to exercise, she turned to Pilates.

 

Certified in both classical and contemporary methods, Pilates has allowed her to offer a deeper mind body connection. From those in pain to the super golfer, using both strength training and Pilates has helped her clients attain a well rounded program and better quality of life.

Kayla is a Dakota High School graduate and throughout her life, she has always had a passion for makeup. After graduation this led her to pursue a certificate in professional makeup artistry. She is a recent graduate from Multimedia Makeup Academy and plans to use her skills for weddings, proms, and any other special event. Kayla has always had a love for helping others and a strong interest in the medical field. Her hard work and communication skills led her to Ramar Chiropractic.

 

When Kayla isn’t working at the office, she is most likely enjoying time with her friends and family. Recently, a lot of her free time has been dedicated to her mini golden doodle puppy Chevy who she loves and adores. In the summer time you can find her enjoying the outdoors and and soaking up the sun by the lake!

Dogtor Reggie is one of our most decorated providers at Ramar Chiropractic and Rehab. When he's not greeting and comforting patients, he's usually seeking out scratches, or a partner for a game of fetch! 

 

Reggie is a golden-doodle which is a hypoallergenic breed. This means that he will rarely, if ever, cause any allergies for anyone in our clinic. He is also a level 1 therapy dog and has completed advanced training in therapy dog assessment standards, environmental cueing and stress prevention actions.
